DSTO means Don’t Stop Trying, Overcome. That’s my artistic philosophy.

I’m a self-taught photographer who specializes in portraiture based in Macon, GA.

DSTO Moore is a Macon, Georgia-based photographer who specializes in capturing intimate portraits and human moments. DSTO first picked up a camera 5 years ago and immediately took his craft to the streets, creating themed photo series such as The Macon Music Project, We are Pleasant Hill, Macon Chose Me, Macon Hidden Gems, and the My Bike Photo Series for Bike Walk Macon.

His ability to feel comfortable in a variety of settings, his desire to connect with the people in his community, and his enthusiasm for his craft brings an optimistic perspective to his work. DSTO’s themed series have been featured in galleries across Macon. DSTO started photography to bring his visionary portraiture art out of the studio and into the community. His dream is to grow his business to provide for his 2 children and to create more meaningful jobs in Macon.

He is also committed to supporting Pleasant Hill, the Macon neighborhood where he grew up, and he is eternally grateful to his village for supporting his dream and for believing in him when he didn’t believe in himself.
